Professor Lotz-Heumann holds the Heiko A. Oberman Chair of Late Medieval and Reformation History at the University of Arizona. Dr. Lotz-Heumann's scholarship has been devoted to early modern Irish, British and German history. She specializes in the history of Europe from the fifteenth to the early nineteenth centuries. The religious, social and political face of Europe changed dramatically during these centuries, making this a very dynamic period in history. The Reformation, colonization and the enlightenment were movements originating in Europe that shape the world until this day -- for better or for worse.
