Dr. Milliman’s research focuses on, among other things, religious conflict and conversion during the Middle Ages, particularly in Europe's "other east"--eastern Europe. He teaches a cross-listed course on Europe in the Global Middle Ages (HIST/RELI 405A/505A). He also explores medieval religiosity in a variety of other contexts, including courses on games and play in medieval and early modern Europe (HIST 207), wonder in the Global Middle Ages (HIST 405B/505B), food in the Global Middle Ages (HIST 405C/505C), and medieval video games, particularly Age of Empires IV (HIST 297B).  For more information about his teaching and research, please see https://history.arizona.edu/people/paul-milliman and/or email him: milliman@arizona.edu
