Dr. Alfie is Professor of Italian in the Department of French and Italian. Dr. Alfie is an expert on Dante and medieval Italian literature. Dr. Alfie teaches courses in Italian language (all levels), literature, culture and folklore, including RELI 431 - The Divine Comedy by Dante.

RELI 431 – The Divine Comedy by Dante

This course examines Dante's masterpiece, "The Divine Comedy", the poet's life and other works. The primary focus is on "The Divine Comedy" and its influence on European literature and culture. Other texts will be included.
