Dr. Cuneo is Professor of Art History. She teaches Italian and Northern Renaissance Art at the gen-ed, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Her research and teaching interests include social, religious, and political functions of 15th-, 16th- and 17th-century art, and early modern hippology. In addition to articles and essays, she is the author of Art and Politics in Early Modern Germany: Jorg Breu the Elder and the Fashioning of Political Identity. She has edited Artful Armies, Beautiful Battles: Art and Warfare in Early Modern Europe, and Animals and Early Modern Identity.
